The plan to write my own list of “# Gifts under $##” fell through, but I was focused on my own holiday—which was very merry, thank you. With Christmas fading away and 2008 with it, I feel like the new year will be a great way to change my life—as most everyone does. I’ve come up with New Year’s Resolutions before, but I feel more serious about this batch. I always have this idea in my head about how I would like to be and what I would like to do. I think it’s time I start working to that ideal.
My new plan is to compose a list of ways I would like either to improve myself (reading the Bible more) or to change myself (taking my shower in the morning instead of at night). When I’m done, I’ll make a page and post them here to remind myself. Some may be more long-term and may not be fully achieved in 2009, but a start is better than just standing there. Right? It will rpobably be my biggest plan thus far—or at least one of them.
Wish me luck! And good luck to all of you with your own resolutions! Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Joyous Kwanzaa! Happy New Year!
